I received from my cousin Michael H. a picture of my  great-great grandmother Sarah Carter Richardson born about 1840 in South Carolina the wife of my great-great grandfather Mark Richardson, Sr born about 1840 in South Carolina. They were both born enslaved Africans being part of the Trans Atlantic  Slave Trade Era.

Now, for some background information. I would like to  mention that my great-great grandmother Sarah Carter Richardson had 19 children, 18 sons and one daughter. Sarah Carter Richardson was my father’s mother’s grandmother, who was also named after her. His mother was named Sarah Jane Richardson born 1895 in South Carolina; she married his father, my grandfather Moses Sampson born 1895 in Georgia. He is my paternal lineage from my father Moses W. Sampson, Sr born 1924 in Florida; married my mother Catherine Bythwood born 1929 in Florida. And her parents were Henry Bythwood, Jr. born 1909 Georgia and Betty Jones born 1913 in Florida. They had one daughter Catherine Bythwood born 1929 in Florida married my father Moses W. Sampson, Sr. with children Marsha Sampson, Delmorris Sampson, Mae Linda Sampson and Moses W. Sampson, Jr.

I have done a DNA Genetic test as well as my two brothers a male cousin and our aunt; my father’s oldest sister at 93 years of age. First, the DNA genetic results for myself are haplogroup L2a1 and for my 93 year old paternal aunt her haplogroup is  U6a3f. Next, for my brothers haplogroup is E1b1a and male cousin E1b1a8a1.

Notation: Phenotype__ when I use the term phenotype it’s referring to ones physical features. Below is a photo of my great-great grandmother Sarah Carter Richardson along side of Egyptian Pharaoh Mentuhotep II. Even though, she has admixture due to the raping of her mother by a European male; I seem to see some physical similarities. What do you think? pharaoph 001
